Michele Carey, known by her birth name Michele Lee Henson, born in Annapolis, Maryland, United States of America She is the daughter of Stanley Willard Henson, Jr physician and Thelma Brennell Henson. Her piano skills were exceptional as a teenager and she took home the national prize at the Chicago Music Festival at just thirteen years old. The family moved to Fort Collins in Colorado, and she finished her high school education through Fort Collins High School in 1960.
